Peggy is an insightful storyteller who uses humor and personal experiences to help you navigate life’s challenges and changes. After many years as a caregiver for a disabled spouse, while at the same time running a successful business, Peggy learned valuable lessons about digging in and finding strength during difficult times.
After her caregiving experience ended, Peggy rebuilt a life of
meaning and used valuable lessons to reenergize herself and her sales team. Her many years in corporate management and successful entrepreneurship bring a unique perspective to her inspiring talks.
How Did I Get Here?
Peggy was raised in North Georgia and attended the University of Georgia earning a BA in Criminal Justice. After a few years serving as a Police Officer and Police Detective in Athens, GA, she began employment with State Farm Insurance. Her management career carried her to NY, MN and FL before she caught the entrepreneurial spirit and landed Middle TN as owner of an insurance and financial services agency.
Along the way Peggy earned a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati. She has taught various Criminal Justice courses at Columbia State Community College, served on the Board of many non-profits, founded a very successful local non-profit focusing on literacy, held leadership positions in Rotary International and spoken at many corporate and civic events.
